Fix Network Adapter When Cloning Centos (6.5 Final minimal) in VMware

*Step 1.
Clone a new Centos in VM (a linked clone in this case)

*Step 2.
Before starting the new clone, change the MAC of the new clone Centos in VM

*Step 3.
Boot the cloned system

Step 4.
Remove the kernel’s networking interface rules file so that it can be regenerated:
rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules*

Step 5.
Edit interface configuration file:
vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
*delete the line of UUID
update MAC address
delete the line of BOOTPROTO if dhcp need to be disabled
change IPADDR is necessary

Step 6.
Edit network settings:
vi /etc/sysconfig/network
*change HOSTNAME

Step 7.
Reboot system:
reboot 0*

Step 8.
Check status:
ping or ping (gateway)*
